You will see lots of rabbit tracks around the ski slopes of Hakuba

When you are riding the ski lifts in Hakuba you will notice lots of different tracks zig zagging around on the snow. The rabbit track looks like a 5 legged animal as it’s tail makes a divot along with it’s legs. It is a rare site to see the rabbit as they are camouflaged perfectly for the environment but keep your eyes open and camera close by just in case.  There is quite a lot of wildlife in the area and you never know what’s over the next mound.
