A great day to go for a drive down to Omachi. We had some friends come up to Hakuba so we decided to go for a lazy Sunday afternoon drive. Omachi is a town about 20 minutes south of Hakuba along the main Highway. We decided to take the long way going up through the Kashimayari ski resort and along the ridge line. The views were spectacular. The spot where the above photo was taken is used by the paragliders to launch themselves off. Another superb day in Hakuba finished off with a stroll down to the main Echoland strip to my favourite izakaya. Great friends good food and clean mountain air. What more can you ask for.
