Hakuba Dreams

Hakuba

Takehiro Sakamoto lauching himself through the trees.

Hakuba tree skiing is as good as anywhere in the world. I had the pleasure of joining the Warren Miller film crew a couple of years ago on the mountain while they were filming the “Children of the Winter”. They were staying at the Arctic White Horse Hotel so I was able to show them around Hakuba. It was a dream come true to be out on the mountain with the legendary movie makers.  Hakuba turned on the conditions for them, bringing in some deep dry powder straight out of Siberia and then clearing the sky for a bluebird day. Japans number 1 skiing personality, Takehiro Sakamoto and Olympic gold medalist Johnny Mosely showed me  a level of freeskiing that I had never witnessed before. I feel blessed that I was given this opportunity. Hakuba has been good to me.

The Warren Miller crew are still shooting most of their footage on film. In this picture they are off the back of Happo One.

  2. Fuel system analysis flush and clean and repair if required.
Racing-type tire studs are designed with much less carbide than
is needed to support a skid loader for a reasonable number of hours, and they wear out
sooner. Due to recent reality TV programs involving preparedness and blurring the lines between
being prepared and “hoarding”, it becomes necessary to clearly define the two concepts so people aren’t needlessly vilified.

An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been doing a little homework on this.

And he in fact bought me dinner because I found it for him…
lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for
spending time to talk about this subject here on your web site.
